☝ 2024 Zhangjiajie Join-in Tour Calendar
Day 1: Arrival, Airport or Train Station Pick Up.
Guests are arriving in Zhangjiajie via flight, train or coach. Private driver will meet and pick up you from Zhangjiajie Hehua International Airport, Zhangjiajie Railway Station, Zhangjiajie West Railway Station or Zhangjiajie Central Bus Station and escort you to Zhangjiajie Pullman Hotel, one of the two best 5 star hotels in the region to help you to check into. No more activity is involved after this and guests can then enjoy free time on their own. For those who would like to book accommodation by themselves, please select a hotel that is close to Zhangjiajie Pullman or the east entrance gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park so that the tour leader can gather up all fellow travelers easily and quickly the next morning.
Day 2: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park Day Tour.
In the morning, private driver picks you up from the hotel to gather up with other group members at the meeting point.
Guide leads you to check in Zhangjiajie national forest park and then get on the sightseeing shuttle bus to go to Tianzi Mountain cable car station. After 6 minutes' sky ride with cable car, travelers come to the picturesque Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve to admire the Imperial Writing Brush Peaks, Xihai West Sea Stone Forest and other incredible views and sceneries.
Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, where world famous Hallelujah Mountain is located, is the next stop after Tianzi Mountain. Exploring at your own pace,you can find many more interesting places here such as the Natural Stone Bridge, Enchanting Stage, One Hundred Bank Notes and so on.
Bailong Elevator is another thrilling experience when going down hill. The glass elevator was built on the side of a cliff, and it is claimed to be the world's highest of its kind. Bailong Elevator is one of the must see attractions in the forest Park. For a riding of 66 seconds, it costs CNY 72 Yuan, meaning a visitor spends 1 Chinese Yuan and 9 Fen per second on average, Bailong Elevator is thus joked by some tourists as "the most expensive elevator in the world".

Day 3: Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge, Tianmen Mountain, Airport / Train Station Departure.
Private driver picks you up from hotel and take you to the meeting point to gather up with other group members in the morning. You can then get on the tourist van and ride for Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon which is famous for the Glass Bridge.
The sky glass bridge is constructed between two peaks, spanning the entire Grand Canyon. This well designed Glass Bridge is 430 meters in length with the main part of the bridge to be 375 meters. It is 6 to 15 meters wide, and the vertical distance between the bridge and the lowest part of the valley is 300 meters. See from afar, the glass bridge is as thin as a wing of cicada, and it is looming when there is fog and cloud. Because of its stunning beauty, it was rated as one of the "11 most spectacular bridges in the world" by CNN. A walk on the see-through glass bridge can be a really thrilling adventure and a once-in-a-lifetime experience to many people.

The 2nd stop of today is Tianmen Mountain. Tianmen Mountain has world's longest cable car line with one way driving distance of 7,455 meters and driving time of more than half an hour. Throughout the journey, travelers can see countless views of towns, villages, rivers, forests and mountains changing quickly one after another. The cable car ride itself can be an unforgettable experience.
Upon arrival at the mountaintop, a counterclockwise tour is made to successively visit the West Line Scenic Area, the East Line Scenic Area and the Central Line Scenic Area. The West Line Scenic Area has the most breathtaking places such as the glass skywalk, Ghost Valley Plank Road which are built alongside the steep cliffs 1,400 meters above the sea level. The East Line is mainly a place to appreciate the old-growth forest and the Central Line has Tianmen Buddhist Temple which is a famous place of worship.
On the way to the cable car station of Tianmen Express Cableway for return, there are highlights of Tianmen Cave, High Stairway to Heaven with 999 steps awaiting tourists. Tianmen Cave or Heaven's Gate Cave from which the mountain got its current name, is a natural wonder with the length of 60 meters, width of 57 meters and height of 132 meters. As the cultural symbol of Tianmen Mountain with a mysterious aura, the Cave is a must see place to every tourist. The stairway to heaven with 999 steps refers to the stone step walkway for people to travel between Tianmen Cave and the Front Cave Square on the mountainside. Besides offering unique sightseeing experience, the stairway to heaven also has a profound meaning and it is therefore rated as one of the "Top Ten Interesting Views of Tianmen Mountain".
